    Active Voice:

    • The subject is the doer of the action.
    • The structure typically follows this pattern: Subject + Verb + Object.
    • Example: “The cat (subject) chased (verb) the mouse (object).”

    Passive Voice:

    • The subject is the receiver of the action.
    • The structure typically follows this pattern: Object + “be” verb (am, is, are, was, were, etc.) + Past Participle of the main verb + “by” + Agent (optional).
    • Example: “The mouse (object) was chased (passive verb) by the cat (agent).
